"If you're not prepared to be wrong, you'll never come up with anything original"

My brother-in-law reminded me of this. The first time I watched it was in my second to last semester of college. My senior design professor showed it to our class and basically told us that most, if not all, our previous professors had "squandered" our creativity. He showed us this after realizing that none of us had been to machine shop or learned basic machining skills (and we were graduating in 1 year). I learned more about being creative in those 2 semesters than my entire college career.
